  • A chiseled meal prep by @chizzledchen 😃👍🏻💪🏻🍏🍐. Hope your Monday is grrreat! ----------- Caption Info . 🍖Protein: shredded chicken, grilled tofu and slow cooker braised beef. I threw some carrots, celery and potato (top right) into the slow cooker with the roast, together with some red wine, chicken broth, crushed tomatoes and seasoning. Left it for 8 hours on low and we've got multiple meals. If you don't have one, I'd highly recommend investing in a good slow cooker. It'll make your meal prep life so much easier. - 🍠Carbs: carrots, potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, bananas & apples. - 🥑Fat: mainly avocado, but there's healthy fats in the beef and chicken as well. Plus as some of your long time follows know that I always got almonds on hand - 🥝Micros & fruits: romaine lettuce, baby arugula, bell peppers, angel tomatoes, cucumber and kiwis. If any of you follow @jeffnippard, he's the one that actually got me working kiwis into my daily diet. So I always have these in my fruit bowl. . So I decided to make some summer ombre vanilla chia puddings! Layered with pineapple, apricots, peaches and raspberries! For my grab and go breakfast I made my nut butter fruit cups with the left over raspberries and apricots! With a sprinkle of blubs! They are delish! Along with my go-to green goddess smoothie (not pictured!) . 🥗lunch: summer salads every. single. day! Created two very different rainbow salad combos. Along with TWO dressing recipes I've been dying to try from @thefirstmess cookbook. The first is the 'Cider + Sunflower Dressing' (pg.97) to go with the spinach based salad. And the second her 'Oil-Free Sundried Tomato + Oregano Dressing' to go with the quinoa based salad. I've tried both and lets just say... I'm super excited to eat my lunches this week! . 🥓dinner: So many options! The first is my second attempt at a sweet potato crust pizza. Topped with peppers, red onion, zucchini, tomatoes and a cashew cheese sauce. I was also craving some rainbow maki, so I made a batch and tossed in some @liveorganicfood kimchi. It's better then 'spicy mayo' and better for you gut! 😉Finally, I tried @thefirstmess Eggplant bacon 👌🏻 and I will be making BLT sandwiches on @littlenorthernbakehouse bread. Paired with @meghantelpner I <3 my kale salad. I made this salad during the @culinarynutrition program and it's been an all time fave! ✨ .   • Your Saturday fist full of food prep is brought to you by @thepaleopeach the scrumptious recipe is listed below! 🍐🍏🔥🤘🍒. ----------- Caption Info . Pack of @heckfooduk chicken paprika sausages 2 medium sweet potatoes 200g cherry tomatoes 100g kale 1 onion 2 cloves garlic Olive oil 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 5 tsp seasoning - I used @traderjoes Chile Lime seasoning blend but paprika, chilli powder and cumin blended will also work Salt . . Chop up sweet potato, place in a bowl and cover then microwave for 4-5 minutes until almost cooked, set aside. In a skillet heat a small amount of oil and fry onions and garlic for a few minutes then add chopped up sausages. Allow to cook for around 5 minutes before adding tomatoes and sweet potato. Add the Chile Lime seasoning and cook for further 10 minutes until everything is cooked through. Meanwhile, place kale on a baking tray, drizzle with oil then sprinkle with sea salt and the 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast. Bake on 170C/350F for 10 minutes stirring regularly (I ALWAYS burn it 🙈🙈) then add to sweet potato mixture. This is a great carb and protein heavy meal! Meal 1: Overnight Oats – oats (base) + whey protein powder (added protein & flavour) + chia seeds (crunch, texture, fibre) + banana + blueberries + Greek yogurt (protein & creaminess). Then fill the jar with your favourite liquid. I like to use almond milk. - Meal 2: Turkey Zoodle Jar – yellow zucchini noodles (base) + broccoli (Vit C) + bell peppers (Vit A & C) + edamame (protein, fibre) + corn (I like corn) + ground turkey (protein) - Meal 3: Chicken Salad Jar – chickpeas & black beans (base & fibre) + cherry tomatoes + grilled chicken breast (protein) + baby arugula. I make my own homemade dressings that’s 50% oil, 20% balsamic vinegar, 10% amino soy, 10% maple syrup, 10% mustard. - Snack: Yogurt Fruit Jar – pineapple + strawberry + Greek yogurt (protein) + peanut butter (added protein, creaminess, healthy fat) . You can eat this as is chilled as a dessert, or add whey protein to it and make it a smoothie. I like to add pb for flavour and creaminess. You can swap it out for avocado and make it a greener smoothie if you’d like. .
