DorienMurphy: @fox_c_one_ thank you love ☺
Hercules Beard Co.: @dorienmurphy hi. Let me take that question in parts....(1) hair growth or length or thickness of the hair: for the most part our hair attributes have been predetermined by our genetics. If there are products claiming miracles in a bottle then they are misleading the consumer. With that said, we can do things externally and internally to support and take care of our hair and skin so it can be the best it can be. select products that do not contain chemicals and synthetics. Products that have whole ingredients as close to mother nature is wise. Cleanse the beard and make sure you are reaching the skin underneath. Brush the beard on a regular basis to sweep debris and dead skin cells away from the base of the hair. Brushing also stimulates the hair follicle. Brushes that are 100% boar bristle is best. Maintenance trimming the beard every so often is wise, this removes any split ends and breakage you have. (2) sandalwood is classed as an essential oil. It's a volitile oil and used a lot for the purpose of fragrance. It won't condition or moisturize your hair because its chemical makeup is not what our hair or skin needs. The chemistry we need for hair and skin moisturization are triglycerides and essential fatty acids and is what makes up botanicals oils (among other things). After you cleanse is when you want to condition your hair and the skin underneath with botanical oils. Then brush your hair for better distribution of the oil. I have many botanicals that I like and that is what I use to formulate our products with. Just like cooking and what we eat, there are parallels. Use good healthy whole stuff for the highest benefit. Please let me know if you have more questions!
Hercules Beard Co.: I will add that internally, I myself, take a hair skin and nail supplement as additional support.
