So yesterday I wanted to try something new for breakfast so I had a go making my own granola/muesli. As I'm gluten free I didn't want to use oats, and from my research on coeliacs forums I wasn't keen to use gf oats. So my muesli base was buckwheat and quinoa. I cooked them off and popped them in the oven on a medium heat to dry them out again then raided my cupboard for things to add in. I stirred trough all the extra ingredients then popped back in the oven until everything was golden and crispy. It worked pretty well and it could be adapted to suit any dietary requirements. ie, just leave out the nuts if you can't have them and add more seeds 👍🏻 . Contains: buckwheat, quinoa, LSA, pumpkin seeds, coconut chips, cinnamon, desiccated coconut, pine nuts, sliced almonds, honey.
