It’s national vegetarian week! Lets take some time to appreciate plant power. The variety it massive. All different shapes, sizes and colours. Every single one does something different but amazing nutritionally. Beetroot is full of phytonutrients - they help the liver with phase 2 detoxification. Chard is high in carotenes and soluble fibre. It’s good for bone health and great for the colon. Alfalfa Sprouts contain concentrated amount of vitamins, minerals and enzymes, including calcium, potassium, magnesium and vitamins C and K. They are great for energy levels and also can help with cholesterol levels. Upping your veg intake is a huge step in the right direction when it comes to your health. You can tailor them to what you feel you need, energy, skin, gut support, liver support… Always go for a variety, lots of colour but GREEN is always a winner!
